# Moodboard generation record

The three boards in this folder were created with OpenAI's built-in image generation tool on 24 September 2026. They are visual **concepts**, not photographs of Product Garage activity, participants or facilities. They should never be presented as documentary evidence. The final production system should use approved real imagery where it makes factual claims.

All three prompts used the established Product Garage material constraints: Oil Black `#171512`, Workshop Chalk `#F3EEE5`, restrained red signal, premium editorial taste, and no readable text or fabricated logos.

## A. Workshop Documentary

Prompt direction: create a premium brand moodboard as an art-directed collage for Product Garage's “Workshop Documentary” route. Show an intimate small-group product-thinking workshop through candid hands, anonymous people viewed from behind, a decision board with non-legible markings, printed problem maps, marker strokes, paper texture and natural industrial light. Keep the composition grounded and observational. Use Oil Black and Workshop Chalk with very sparing red. Do not create a polished advertising set, readable copy, a finished logo or apparent documentary evidence of a real Product Garage session.

## B. Editorial Casebook

Prompt direction: create a premium visual moodboard for an “Editorial Casebook” identity. Arrange annotated case files, grids, bound paper, evidence cards, a small contact-sheet suggestion of workshop hands and quiet editorial typography-like forms without readable text. The mood is precise, intelligent, tactile and accessible. Preserve Oil Black and Workshop Chalk with a restrained red accent. Avoid literal garage iconography, fabricated copy and a fake finished Product Garage logo.

## C. Shutter Signal

File: [moodboard-shutter-signal.png](moodboard-shutter-signal.png)

Prompt direction: create a premium moodboard for a “Shutter Signal” route. A dark industrial roller door is opening toward a warm, active workshop, with horizontal ribs, directional light, shadows, a small restrained red signal and a sense of revealing the work behind a decision. Keep the image cinematic but not sci-fi, gritty or car-oriented. Oil Black and Workshop Chalk dominate. Avoid readable text, invented logos and imagery that claims to be a real Product Garage event.

## Current creative judgment

Use A as the evidence layer, B as the repeatable editorial system, and C as an occasional reveal or motion cue. This is a working recommendation to test with target audiences, not a validated preference.
